Job Description

What will a day in this role look like?

  1. Consulting with Tier 1 Mining clients with a particular focus on mining infrastructure, materials handling and surface non-process infrastructure for brownfield and greenfield assets (specifically crushing, screening, bulk materials handling, pumping & piping networks and water facilities)
  2. As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will provide study management and technical leadership across the team
  3. Act as focal point for the client and the AECOM Design Team
  4. Use your experience as a Study Manager / Technical Specialist to deliver technical outcomes and leadership to the Project Team

What are we looking for from you?

  1. Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with experience for a consultancy or owners side organisation with a solid understanding of Front End Loading approach to capital project delivery
  2. Post-graduate Qualifications in Project Management
  3. RPEQ / CPEng (preferred)
  4. Experience managing Design / Engineering / Consulting projects
  5. Well-networked with outstanding oral and written communication skills
  6. Experience in delivering successful project outcomes from initiation to execution demonstrating commercial acumen throughout
