About the role:
We are currently seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join our rail operations team based out of Seven Hills, NSW.This role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.
- Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure that project plans are implemented in accordance with designs and specifications.
- Interpret designs for implementation in construction projects, review and make recommendations for improvements.
- Assist with the preparation of site construction budgets and reports.
- Monitor construction progress for the area of work against the program and budget.
- Support the procurement process for contractors with the Commercial / Procurement team.
- Tertiary qualification within an engineering discipline or equivalent coupled with experience in delivering large-scale civil, rail, and/or buildings projects with top-tier constructors.
- Experience managing contractor models and/or delivering large-scale projects.
- A sound understanding of general Australian standards and how they are implemented on construction projects.
