Electrical Engineering Technician

Location: Multiple farm sites in QLD (Bowenville 4404, Dalby 4405, Beerburrum 4405, Kaimkillenbum 4406)

Tenure: Full-time Permanent

Comprehensive salary package: from $73,150 p.a Plus superannuation

Position Summary:

On behalf of our client, Global Skilled Employment Services is looking for a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer Technician who has strong communication and time management skills, is self-motivated, and must have the ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

The position may also require skills in leading a small team or groups and the ability to train new members of the team. This is a full-time position which may involve weekend work and some unplanned hours of work where the need arises.

Required Skills and Experience:
  1. Associate's degree in electrical engineering technology, or similar.
  2. A minimum of two years of experience as an electrical technician in a related industry.

Extensive knowledge of electrical engineering designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs.

Tasks and duties include:

This role will see you completing hands-on activities to fabricate, assemble, erect, test, maintain and / or repair equipment and components in line with industry best practices, company standards, policies, and procedures.

Other skills required:

  1. To adhere to Workplace Health & Safety and Quality procedures
  2. Ability to work within a team environment with the ability to take direction
  3. Good communications skills essential
  4. Demonstrated integrity and good presentation
  5. A professional work attitude
  6. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  7. Superior attendance
  8. High focus & attention to detail
