Discovery Parks, Fraser Street in Hervey Bay is located a short stroll to the ocean. This subtropical 8 acre property offers Deluxe safari tents, a range of deluxe and superior cabins, powered and ensuite caravan sites. The great facilities on offer ensure this property is busy throughout the year with many guests returning on a regular basis.

About the Role

This role offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and contribute to the success of our growing business.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in day-to-day operations of the property, including attending to after hours call outs
  • Front office operations including guest check in/out, reservations and account reconciliation
  • Provide an exceptional guest experience, responding promptly to guest enquiries
  • Support and motivate the team, fostering a positive work environment
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety requirements, maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and staff
  • Assist in marketing efforts to attract new guests and promote the park's amenities and services.
  • Build positive relationships with guests and local communities
Skills & Experience

We are looking foran individualwho can contribute to the smooth running of the park and who hasthe ability to lead park operations in the Manager's absence.

  • Demonstrated skills and experience in hospitality/accommodation management
  • Experience in team leadership, training and development
  • Strong computer skills with experience with RMSor similar reservations systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach
  • A flexible attitude to work, and work hours (including weekends and after hours)
  • Genuine passion for delivering exceptional Guest experience
