Established in 2013 and based in Sydney, Australia, White Fox has quickly become the go-to online fashion destination and is continuing to take over wardrobes everywhere. An exciting role has become available for a Merchandise Planner to join the White Fox family based at our stunning office in Rosebery.

Supporting the Merchandise Manager, you will use your merchandise planning fundamentals to help drive growth within the business using a highly analytical and data-driven approach. The successful candidate will be positive, proactive and eager to continue to develop planning processes and ways of working.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Through strategic planning and trading of categories, manage the intake flow into the business to hit monthly forecasts, drive sales and minimise risks.
  2. Manage and in-season trading of OTB to deliver the inventory targets for your categories and the brand.
  3. Provide weekly summary of key performance indicators within departments of responsibility and the wider business, relating to sales, stock, profit, versus budget and last year.
  4. Review sales at style and category level identifying opportunities and risks, making recommendations to maximise and mitigate.
  5. Complete monthly post-seasonal reviews in line with the critical path.
  6. Perform ad hoc reporting as required by the business and across different business units.
  7. Consistently use analytics to help aid decision-making and to shape the strategy and key focus areas for the dept.
  8. Track replenishment and product performance against forecasts to determine areas of opportunity and risks for sales, planning and merchandising.
  9. Develop short-term and long-term category strategies with the Buyer to maximise business trade.
  10. Responsible for managing and forecasting core lines based on sales trends.
  11. Help to maintain Clear As You Go Strategy to keep stock efficient.
  12. Lead and be heavily involved in ad-hoc projects across the merchandising team and business and build relationships with cross-functional teams.
  13. Develop current systems and processes that are in place and be instrumental in implementing best practices.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum of 3 years in experience in a Merchandise Planning role.
  2. Experience in Ecommerce is essential.
  3. Experience within a fashion retailer is preferred.
  4. Strong collaboration and teamwork focus.
  5. Aptitude for numbers and an outstanding attention to detail.
  6. Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment.
  7. An energetic, can-do and positive attitude.
  8. Able to manage own priorities, set own work objectives and proactively identify business issues and develop creative solutions.
  9. Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities.
  10. Advanced excel skills.
