Join Adecco DFR as a Procurement Manager to lead strategic procurement initiatives.
Seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee end to end procurement at Adecco DFR. Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you'll manage all third party spend including ICT, Facilities and Professional Services. and ensure best practice procurement policies across the organisation.

Job Description
As the Procurement Manager, you will report to the Head of Commercial and manage procurement for the Adecco DFR organisation. You will set the strategy for various categories, oversee an annual spend of 60M AUD, and ensure strong governance and subcontract management. Leading a small team, you will handle daily purchasing while complying with The Adecco Group Procurement Policy and Commonwealth of Australia standards, including Indigenous procurement commitments.
You will:
- Ensure procurement strategy across the group is clearly defined and communicated to the organisation and that this is in line with The Adecco Group and Commonwealth expecations
- Category procurement strategy development inclusive of sub contractor management
- Sourcing strategy development inclusive of go to market activities
- Clearly define and communicate procurement and value to executive leadership team
- Demonstrate value for money to executive leadership team and regional and global stakeholders
- Develop and implement effective procurement processes and procedures to ensure that the needs of the business are managed in accordance with the company's governance framework.
- Co ordinate all legal contract reviews, support the development of quality statements of work and negotiate positive commercial terms
- Co ordinate vendor evaluations and assessments
- Prepare contractual documentation for local, regional and global approvals in accordance with The Adecco Group’s delegation policy and execute contracts and variations
- Establishment of a business partnering approach to review procurement requirements with Heads of Functions and plan for these over timeEstablish and maintain an register of all current and future contracts entered by the company i.e Technology, Fleet etc.
- Periodical identification and prioritisation of procurement types and relationships where results can be improved (quality/quantity/cost)
- Hands on procurement activities for material projects and functions not specifically delegated to specialist Managers (Finance, Legal, IT and HR functions)
- Conduct periodical assessments of material supplier relationships, focusing on probity, compliance and value for money achieved
- Co own the Indigenous Participation Plan with HR, developing strategies to meet Indigenous Procurement Targets

- Ability to analyse and interpret financial and operational statements.
- Ability to plan and execute procurement strategy in a large national organisation.
- Ability to create a value proposition according to client’s needs.
- Ability to use negotiation techniques to close agreements in different environments.
- Knowledge of coaching methods and how to apply.
- Knowledge of managing projects and teams.
- Lead from the front in building a strong and connected relationship across all Adecco DFR stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Finance or equivalent.
