Location: Adelaide Office

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday

Pay Cycle: Weekly

Projects: Long term with stable contractor

The Role

Be responsible for all aspects of estimating in Defence projects across Australia, ensuring accurate and timely submissions. Responsibilities include:

  1. Calculation and preparation of quantities
  2. Preparation of RFQs for subcontractors
  3. Review and assessment of tender documents
  4. Attendance at industry briefings
  5. Providing accurate cost and drafting estimates
  6. Collecting and following up on supplier quotes
  7. Maintaining project records and reports
  8. Conducting commercial, risk, and profitability reviews
  9. Completing tender schedules and documentation
  10. Communicating tender outcomes
  11. Assisting in responses to clarifications
  12. Tender handover support into pre-contracts and delivery
About You

Your flexibility, can-do attitude, and the following qualifications and skills will contribute to your success:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or Engineering
  • Previous experience in Defence works estimation
  • Ability to perform detailed material quantity take-offs
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism
  • Financial and commercial acumen
  • Ability to identify new project opportunities
  • High attention to detail and meeting timeframes
  • Computer literacy
