Senior Business Analyst

  • Senior Business Analyst with a minimum of 12 years of experience.
  • Proven hands-on BA experience in a financial services organisation is essential.
  • Experience in Retail banking, Consumer finance products such as Credit Cards and Loans, Credit Risk is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to liaise with Business Product Owners, User Experience Designers, Legal and Compliance and be the conduit to technical teams.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment is preferable.
  • Generating business requirements on business-critical tech focussed projects
  • Ownership of requirements through to delivery
    • Managing scope, requirements and delivery of in-house development streams
    • Liaise with business stakeholders and communicate delivery
    • Liaise with technical leads to help PM's manage sprint planning
    • Liaise with external vendors as required
    • Power to exercise governance and best practise
  • Identify business gaps between "as is" and "to be" states across multiple projects
  • Recommend solutions that will enable Westpac to achieve targeted business outcomes and deliver business value
  • Able to detail requirements into user stories for developers while managing many stakeholders
  • Developing and executing appropriate test plans
  • You will be a self-starter, able to work self sufficiently
  • Ability to play a mentoring relationship for the wider team
  • Capability to facilitate and foster stakeholder relationships
