As a registeredexperienced Behaviour Support Practitioner - Team Leader some of your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting our PBS Clinical Lead and leadership teamto ensure a high standards of work is delivered in accordance to legislative requirements
- Ability to mentor and work collaborativelywith members of a multi-disciplinary team
- Assistingparticipants, along with their families and/or carers, to identify needs through aperson-centered approach in a community based setting
- Developand deliver behavior support servicesin accordance with the NDIS safeguards framework ,particularly regardingrestrictive practices
- Ensuring individual plans reflect our NDIS participants' goals, passions and strengths, as well as ensuring they get more out of life
- A minimum of 2years' in development and implementation of positiveBehaviour Support
- Relevant qualification in allied health or social care and eligibility to register with the relevant membership body
- Registration with the NDIS Quality & Safeguarding Commission as a Proficient or Advanced or Specialist level Behaviour SupportPractitioner
- Experience delivering services under the NDIS
- A passion for being a leader in their field and delivering quality, evidence based therapeutic interventions
- A drivers' licence and full access to a vehicle
- A national police clearance and working with children check (or the ability to obtain one)
- Registration with relevant professional body
- Experience in providing training wand supervision to a team
