A new General Manager Opportunity has opened up within CDC NSW to lead our new Operational Support Group to ensure the delivery of safe and reliable bus services. 

Are you ready to steer the helm of our newly established Operational Support Group? CDC NSW is seeking a visionary General Manager to champion the delivery of top-tier bus services. What You’ll Do:

  • Lead with Innovation: Spearhead the core functions of Performance Management, Operational Customer Centre, and Customer Experience.
  • Set the Standard: Craft and execute cutting-edge standards for managing on-road events and service disruptions.
  • Strategise and Optimise: Strategically allocate resources to maximise service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Empower and Inspire: Guide and develop a dedicated team, fostering a culture of excellence through strategic hiring, comprehensive training, and continuous performance enhancement.

Who You Are:

  • A holder of a Business Management degree or related field; an MBA would be a great addition.
  • An experienced leader with a proven track record in a similar managerial capacity, ideally within the public transport realm.
  • A natural-born leader with exceptional communication prowess.
  • Proven leadership experience with an innate ability to motivate and deliver exceptional customer service
  • A problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and outstanding organisational skills.
  • The ability to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
