The Senior Property Manager provides project management for Department of Education employees eligible for Government Employee Housing in remote localities across the Northern Territory, working closely with external agencies and regional staff; ensuring the department meets its obligations for tenants. The position also collaborates across the Infrastructure Planning and Investment team and with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the department’s building infrastructure portfolio is well managed, including supporting school infrastructure planning and managing leasing arrangements across building assets.

Of the 153 government schools, 73% are located in remote and very remote areas, with 46% of the NT’s total student population attending those remote schools.
Some 44% of all our students in the NT speak a language other than English at home.
