• Solution Portfolio Management: Develop and manage our solution portfolio for digital transformation in the Retail sector, including point-of-sale systems, enterprise commerce platforms, promotion and loyalty systems, mobile applications, and professional and managed services.
• Business Analysis: Conduct comprehensive business analysis to identify inefficiencies, recommend optimal work practices and system enhancements, and ensure alignment with regional market demands in Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa.
• Regional Strategy Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to define the vision and requirements for launching global platforms in Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa, ensuring alignment with regional needs and priorities.
• Product Roadmap Development: Drive the development of regional product roadmaps, conducting thorough business analysis to identify requirements, prioritise features and lead the solution architecture design and development framework.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights into business needs, guide decision-making processes, and ensure alignment between regional requirements and global strategies.
• Sales Enablement: Evangelise and mentor sales teams on the value proposition of our solutions, conduct solution demonstrations, and lead workshops for key accounts, including C-level audiences.
• Partnership Development: Build and grow an ecosystem of solution partners to address gaps in our offerings, collaborating closely to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet the diverse needs of our customers.
• Marketing Support: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop collateral materials, presentations, and proposals highlighting the key value points of our products and services.

AREAS OF EXPERTISE & SPECIAL SKILLS

The successful candidate will possess expertise in the following areas:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 20 years of experience in the ICT industry, with at least 15 years specialising in retail point-of-sale solutions for diverse Retail Segments such as Grocery, Department Stores, Convenience Stores, Specialty, Food & Beverage.
• Extensive experience in the Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and African markets, with proven regional dynamics, delivered plans in the listed regions, an existent network for immediate relationships, knowledge of business practices, and understanding of regulatory environments affecting retail store solutions.
• Strong business analysis skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and deliver complex product requirements, with in-depth industry knowledge to lead discussions, influence solution design and propose optimised functionalities to minimise increasing efforts to develop a solution.
• Proven experience working in global companies, liaising with international teams for launching and developing localised solutions for different regions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, including C-level executives.
• Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of mentoring and coaching sales teams on solution value propositions to achieve outstanding results.
• Strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach and a passion for driving innovation in the retail industry.
• Track record of managing solution portfolios, leading pre-sales activities, and driving digital transformation initiatives within the retail sector.
