Location: Sydney

If you’re a top-notch developer with a keen eye for UI/UX, and you want to work within a fast paced team where innovation is measured in weeks, not months, come join us.

As a ‘Code Wrangler’ you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our apps’.

You will work on new product development from conception to implementation, high-volume and high-concurrency programming with top-notch quality and clean code.

You should be able to contribute to product, functional and technical documents.

Requirements:

  • Advanced proficiency with PHP, MySQL, Ajax, JSON.
  • Git or similar version controls system experience
  • Strong understanding and application of OOP principles, REST APIs & MVC architecture.
  • Experience developing within the LAMP environment.
  • Good understanding of security issues in development.
  • Computer Science degree or similar level of tertiary education.
  • Ability to work under pressure, achieve deadlines and effectively prioritise multiple, concurrent tasks
  • Experience working on a large-scale system to make it faster, more scalable, and fault-tolerant.
  • The ability to iterate and ship ideas quickly, with very little direction.
  • A deep understanding of HTTP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of Node.js and Angular will be a definite plus
  • Comfortable with customer-facing roles including support and documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Work from day one on new product initiatives that impact our bottom line.
  • Contribute everywhere — ideas, architecture, ui, server-side development, processes, and tools.
  • Work on all our technology — apps, social analytics, reporting, etc.
  • Help build a great company.
