The Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager People – Corporate, you will provide strategic and operational support to our employees and leaders on all people and industrial relations related matters including case management, performance management, employee engagement, remuneration, talent management and succession planning.

This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract to cover Parental Leave.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with our business to conduct thorough workplace investigations.
  • Provide sound advice and guidance to our leaders on any performance management and disciplinary matters.
  • Lead as a change champion and contribute to our continuous improvement and change strategies.
  • Support the business with the interpretation of enterprise agreements, modern award, employment contracts and other legislation.
  • Manage workforce planning, employee movements and redeployment processes.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of relevant people policies and strategies.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, coach and mentor senior leaders around all people related issues.

What is Required

  • Previous experience in a HR generalist role operating in a similar role & industry.
  • In depth knowledge to leading investigations and disciplinary processes
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and engage key stakeholders across a corporate function.
  • Proven experience executing continuous improvement initiatives, strategies, and programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to adjust strategies and plans to meet changing priorities.
  • Highly developed problem-solving skills with the ability to find contemporary solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to partner with others to influence change at all levels.
