Andrews Meat Industries is a leading food service meat supplier comprising three key divisions: foodservice, value added (cooked) and export. Across these divisions, the company supplies to all areas of the hospitality industry, including restaurants, cafes, hotels, clubs, and resort groups, as well as servicing a number of other market segments, including health and aged care, education, aviation, and sporting venues.

Who we are

Creative Food Solutions is a sous vide food specialist supplying to the food service sector and supermarket chains.

Come and join the team at Lidcombe NSW in our Cooked Foods Division working as a cook on the kettle.

We require 1 casual for approximately 3 shifts a week. Must be available Monday to Friday 6am-2pm (8 hour shifts) The days you work each week will change depending on business requirements.

Role responsibilities?

This role would be responsible but not limited to the following tasks:

• Food Safety and Hygiene
• Repetitive lifting of product on top of pallets
• Checking orders against order sheets
• Working end of the line
• Operating automatic packaging machine
• Packaging of foods
• Fast paced environment
• Cleaning duties as required
• Using the steamer machine
• Repetitive lifting and packing activities
• Use of industrial machinery
• Physically lifting crates of ingredients/food products
• Ability to work in a cold and hot room environment
• Other duties as required in the cooked foods department

Who we are looking for?

• Someone who can demonstrate initiative
• Experienced cook - working experience with a commercial kettle would be ideal
• A Self starter
• Basic Literacy Skills
• Experience within manufacturing or food processing 
• Ability to perform manual handling activities over prolonged periods of time
