Rare opportunity available for a Kindergarten Director to lead the operation of our Ryan Kindergarten on a permanent basis

Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland provides high-quality provision of care to families across the Diocese of Townsville, which stretches from Ingham in the North, Proserpine in the South, Mount Isa in the West and Palm Island to the East. 
 
About the position
Ryan Kindergarten is one of the leading Kindergartens providing exceptional care to the youngest members of the Kirwan community. Located on the Ryan Catholic College Junior School campus, we operate three kindergarten programs designed to continuously build on each child's learning ability and skill. Our qualified Educators are passionate about encouraging creativity, exploration and experimentation while learning.

Applications are now open for a passionate and driven Director to lead the operation of our service on a part-time permanent basis working 37.5 hours per week commencing as soon as practicable.

You will join a supportive environment and will have the opportunity to manage and mentor a team of Educators while guiding the service development to meet local needs with the support from your Business Operations Consultant and other experts in their fields from Mary MacKillop Childcare NQ. What you’ll need to succeed:

• Diploma of Early Childhood & Care or an equivalent ACECQA approved qualification
• Current Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience delivering education and/or care of children
• Ability to develop and continually build professional relationships with the team, families and internal and external Customer
• Demonstrate a commitment to develop a requisite knowledge and understanding of the operations of the education and care services

• Demonstrate a commitment to develop a requisite knowledge and understanding of the operations of the education and care services
