CQ Medicentre is seeking a Full Time Reception Manager to join our busy Practices to provide leadership and operational management to a team of Receptionists.

The Reception Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of reception and associated administrative functions. This opportunity includes managerial duties across two busy medical practices, both situated in Rockhampton. Both Practices provide a full range of general practice services in well-equipped facilities, using modern software and programs.

Tasks and responsibilities include: 

  • Provide leadership and effective management to a team of receptionists
  • Apply practice policies, standards and guidance
  • Assist with complaint processes
  • Assist in the assessment and evaluation of systems and processes within the Practice
  • Supervision, training and education of reception staff
  • Oversee and delegation of daily tasks
  • General reception and administrative tasks
  • A commitment to Quality Improvement, Risk Management and the accreditation process
  • Ensuring privacy policies, health and safety and other Practice policies are met
  • Commitment to professional development
  • Support the Practice Manager in day-to-day operations
  • Remuneration will be variable based on experience and qualifications
