A great opportunity as a Senior Market Planner has become available. In this role you will have the exceptional responsibility of managing inventory at the country or cluster level. Reporting to Planning and Demand Manager, you will play a critical role in examining and mitigating supply exceptions, ensuring flawless communication between various teams including the commercial team, customer support, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Network Planners, and fulfillment teams. Your expertise will be crucial in successfully implementing strategies to bridge any gaps between inventory and customer demand, especially in import markets.

In this position, you will work closely with Supply (Network) Planners to address supply and inventory challenges in the short and medium term. You will also be in charge of creating and implementing inventory plans, identifying ways to optimize inventory, and analyzing any discrepancies. Your strong communication skills will be essential as you oversee commercial meetings, evaluate pipelines, and manage country fulfillment. Furthermore, you will facilitate productive discussions with the Commercial team and Finance during S&OP meetings at the country or cluster level to ensure alignment and achievement of goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and own the inventory plan and execution for the market. Drive for inventory optimization opportunity analysis and deployment

  • Own the communication strategy to the commercial team for supply issues. Lead commercial meetings to review pipelines and manage country fulfillment

  • Co-lead with Demand Planning to drive consensus discussions with Commercial team and Finance in country or cluster level S&OP

  • Lead the strategic stock build planning for the market driven by import license registration, M&A, supply issue, etc

  • Manage back-order risks with Supply (Network) Planner and communicate to commercial teams

  • Monitor customer limits and rebalance product allocation, when needed in cooperation with marketing partners.

  • Responsible for independently managing new product launches and product phase outs within the market or cluster

  • Support across all import portfolios for proposals on supply issue resolution and provide recommendations for stakeholder’s approval

  • Build and maintain reports for commercial team including transfer orders and customer-specific reports

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Master's degree preferred) and have a minimum of 5-7 years of related experience in supply chain management.

  • You should have a detailed working knowledge of effective Supply Chain performance, including Operations management.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritize and adapt to change are essential.

  • Proficiency in planning systems such as Rapid response is highly desirable.

  • Extensive knowledge of import/export regulations.

  • APICS certification is a plus.

  • Basic Project management skill and lean/continuous improvement.
