General Manager | The Vicar - Dural

With a portfolio of iconic venues, Whitehouse Property Group are a family run Hotel Group and The Vicar – Dural is looking for a General Manager/Licensee to lead this recently re-developed large scale venue in the heart of The Hills.

THE OPPORTUNITY
The role of the General Manager/Licensee is to lead and co-ordinate all aspects of venue management, and to support department managers and their teams to deliver the genuine hospitality and service excellence while also meeting business goals. The Vicar is a community focused multi-faceted venue with a range of offerings to further develop your skills.

Reporting to the Group General Manager, you are responsible for but not limited to:

  • Accountability for achieving all revenue targets and having an agile approach to managing the business to ensure these targets are met.
  • Strictly adhere to and enforce all company policies to ensure the business is run effectively and efficiently including compliance obligations.
  • Deliver all HR requirements for the business, including training, coaching and developing talent pipelines for all leadership roles.
  • Oversee all operational requirements of the business including marketing, security, maintenance, food and beverage service, sales and events, and cash management.

WHO ARE YOU
As a driven, passionate and focused individual you will possess the following attributes and skills:

 

  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in a GM capacity in a high-volume venue
  • Strong background from operational Food & Beverage venues
  • Immaculate presentation paralleled with hands on service delivery
  • Passion for developing large teams and strong team player
  • Confident in 'managing up' and influential communicator
  • Excellent business & financial acumen

This is a strong, hands-on role, leading and motivating from the front where your experience requires thinking on your feet to meet the multitude of operational service standards in a high-volume venue and diverse service offerings.
