Boom Logistics are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager - Mobile Cranes (WA) for a full time role based from our East Rockingham business location on a full time basis.

Role Key Points:

  • Managing maintenance activities for the states mobile crane & heavy vehicle fleet
  • Ensuring safe and seamless service and repair operations
  • Aligning maintenance strategies with the company's operational goals

Reporting to the General Manager - West, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to manage maintenance works and strategy on on major heavy lift plant and haulage vehicles. 

This role will include but not be limited to:

  • Develop and implement a robust service maintenance plan aligned with re-build requirements and customer schedules to minimise disruption
  • Oversee and evaluate workshop staff performance across all locations, recommending changes and recruiting key personnel to enhance service standards
  • Manage maintenance costs within budget, investigating variances and identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Manage procurement of oils, fuel, tyres, and spare parts in line with company guidelines
  • Managing a team of professional maintenance personnel 

Role Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within an industrial services environment
  • Experience in workshop management; qualifications as a mechanic/diesel fitter are advantageous but not essential
  • Prior experience with cranes and/or lifting equipment (desirable)
  • Demonstrated experience in managing customer expectations effectively
