Thisposition requires a high level of customer and employee interaction, so the idealcandidate will not only possess the technical acumen, but also the ability toprovide a strong level of customer service. This position requirescollaboration with Sales, Operations, and Service staff to proactively improvethe owner experience for a rapidly growing customer base.

Qualified persons may have a background in the energyindustry or technical customer support. Candidates will thrive in both anindependent and team environment. You must be able to proactively seek outprojects that enhance optimal customer service and team organization whilecompleting daily tasks accurately and with minimal oversight. What to Expect

An Associate Energy Systems Technical Support Engineerprovides technical support for Tesla's Industrial Energy Storage product lines,ensuring Tesla meets its obligations and commitments by responding to inquiriesin an accurate and timely manner. What You’ll Do
  • Provide the highest level of customer support by answering customerinquiries
  • Maintain a high fleet availability through pro-activemonitoring and resolving issues before they impact the customer
  • Evaluate the needs of customers and work in a creative,pro-active manner to resolve technical issues with the battery systems
  • Educate our Installers and customers so they have optimalconfidence in the operation of their energy storage system
  • Determine if a technical solution can be resolved remotely orif on-site service is required
  • Communicate customers concerns with NOC Managers, ServiceEngineering, or Field Service as necessary
  • Accurately record issues and data into a CRM database
  • This role may require shifted workweek to provide weekendsupport
What You’ll Bring
  • Minimum 2 year of relevant work experience, preferably withan electrical, electronics, or mechatronics engineering background
  • Excellent written and oral English communications skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and handle shiftingpriorities
  • Experience with CRM systems and MS Office Suite
  • Energy industry experience or background in a technicalsupport
  • Understanding of distributed generation and/or energystorage systems preferred
