This includes managing product design, supply chain, warehousing and distribution as well as a network of wholesale, retail and eCommerce stores. As a brand that is seeing significant trajectory and has a boutique network that will double in size by 2023, an exciting role has been created to support the further growth of Elka Collective into the future.

The Opportunity:
The Elka Collective Production Coordinator will work closely with Retail, Sales and Design and is responsible for the on time delivery of the collection into stores. Working closely with the design and production team, this role supports the coordination and administration of the design process and assists production.

Please note this position is a 7 month fixed term part-time 3 days per week.


Role Responsibilities:

RANGE DEVELOPMENT STAGE

  • Manage Critical Path
  • Send timeline to suppliers

PROTO DEVELOPMENT

  • Negotiate FOB price
  • Tracking of SMS samples

PRODUCTION

  • Raising PO’s to suppliers
  • Negotiate FOB with factories following PO placement.
  • Adjusting/applying and surcharges based on order qty.
  • Communicating cancellation lists to Suppliers.
  • Tracking pre production samples
  • Track orders throughout production process with suppliers to ensure deadlines are met
  • Manage delivery timeline for wholesale Majors (Iconic)
  • Manage Bulk inspection reports
  • Check off Invoices for pricing against initial PO / OTB and Packing List
  • Ensure all admin, invoices & reporting are kept up to date.
  • Onboarding process with new suppliers to ensure all compliant and meet required standards.
  • Tracking audit status, arranging new audits, and maintaining supplier bible sheet
  • Constantly review and implement new processes and structures to improve organization, communication and effectiveness.
  • Sourcing and supporting design team to find new suppliers where needed.

Skills Required:

  • Previous experience in a similar role with a minimum of 3 years’ + experience with offshore production. - Ladies Apparel experience preferable
  • Competence working with AP21
  • Highly proficient in MS Office applications - particularly Excel
  • Outstanding PC skills and clear verbal and written communication skills are essential
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships both internally and with suppliers
  • Understanding of quality - and production processes and high-end garment construction
  • Efficient, organized and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • An ability to prioritise and multitask
