About the role:
  1. This role is responsible for being a business partner for several key portfolios and assisting the management/delivery of up to 30 plus case matters at a time across several different employment streams and divisions.
  2. Writing discipline correspondence for the public sector
  3. Preparing correspond for senior delegates (GM-DG)
  4. Preparing documentation for the Queensland Industrial Relations Committee
  5. Providing strategic HR advice on performance management, medical management, employee grievances, IME’s, absentee management, discipline, suspension, investigations
  6. Managing end to end investigation process with external providers, analysing reports and providing advice on investigation reports to delegates and business partners
  7. Briefing delegates, HR teams on a wide range of case management topics
About the individual:
  1. Experience in writing discipline correspondence
  2. Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  3. Experience in a similar role within the public sector, highly desirable
  4. Efficient in preparing documentation for the Queensland Industrial Relations Committee
  5. Knowledge of the PS ACT 2022 and the legislative frameworks of the public sector
  6. Experience in providing strategic HR advice in a large organistion or government department
  7. Experience in managing end to end investigation process
  8. Experience analysing reports and providing advice on investigation reports
  9. Experience working with internal HR stakeholders in an advisory capacity
