Performance Tester

These include; Government, Telecommunications, Commercial and Finance. We currently have more than 1200 consultants assisting our clients across Australia and are continuing to grow at a rapid pace. By delivering services and implementing new systems, processes, and technology, we assist our clients in gaining competitive advantage and reaching new heights.
At present, we are looking for a Performance Tester to join our market leading client.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform performance test impact assessment reviewing non-functional requirements and solution design.
- Execute and manage performance test lifecycle end 2 end from test planning to test completion report.
- Conduct performance testing to assess system behaviour under various conditions.
- Analyze performance metrics and identify areas for optimization.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement performance enhancements.
- Monitor system performance in production environments and proactively address issues.
- Perform workload modelling and capacity planning to ensure systems can handle expected loads and growth.
- Investigate and resolve performance-related incidents and outages.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in performance engineering
Skills & experience required:
- Proven experience in performance engineering and testing.
- Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic, AppDynamics, or similar.
- Knowledge of software architecture and distributed systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and self-starter with thought leadership.
- Telecommunications industry experience a bonus.
