Founded in 1994, Wettenhall Silva focuses on criminal law, traffic law (including licence appeals and applications), discrimination and sexual harassment complaints, employment law and estate administration.
Wettenhall Silva has strong social justice values and actively supports the work of community legal centres and Legal Aid Queensland. In recognition of this commitment, the firm was presented with a special award by Legal Aid Queensland as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations for “outstanding contribution to the provision of legal services to the people of Queensland” – the only firm in Far North Queensland to receive this honour.
