Due to a promotion within our team we are now recruiting for a Senior Data Analyst. Reporting to the Head of Data, the Senior Data Analyst will join a broader team of Data & Analytics professionals. This is a critical role within our team supporting the data, reporting & insight needs of the Australian Unity Home Health business. In addition to this the Senior Dat Analyst will play an active role in supporting projects and initiatives across Home Health.
This will include:
- Business partnering/consulting with stakeholders across Home Health to understand key business challenges, pain points and opportunities
- Collating data required for analysis, segmentation and modelling purposes to provide actionable insights
- Analysing customer behaviour to develop predictive models and forecasting of business performance
- Developing Customer Segmentation Models to support management of customer needs and targeting
- Measuring success of initiatives (including Marketing Performance) and operational performance
- Building tactical data assets to support the development of dashboards and reports in Tableau
- Preparing findings and recommendations in easy to consume presentations and communicating these insights with business stakeholders across all levels
About You:
- You will possess a strong understanding of the data life cycle and technical expertise in data transformation/tools, analytics, modelling and development of insightful dashboards and reports.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems); advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) would be highly regarded
- Excellent communication and data storytelling skills and comfortable influencing and presenting to senior stakeholders
- Demonstrate hands-on experience in data analysis domain as well as proficiency in handling large and complex data sets using various applications.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand their analytical needs.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL query skills and exposure to Python would be highly regarded.
- Experience in BI and visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI.
- Experience with MDM and Single Customer View.
- Experience with Data Governance and Data Quality Concepts
- Experience working in modern cloud data platforms and data migration projects.
- Experience in Data-warehousing, Data modelling, cleansing & mining concepts.
