Your role will see you:

  • Managing the HSE function ensuring systems, processes, tools and reporting methodology translate into targeted safety performance and an embraced safety culture across the business.
     
  • Management and evaluation of the Cape Integrated Management System (IMS) ensuring the system is lean, in compliance with certification requirements and fit for purpose. 
     
  • Leading Business Improvement initiatives designed to increase organisation capability and agility. 
     
  • Management and mentoring of the HSE team members ensuring continual development for core skills set and increased commercial acumen. 
     
  • Providing leadership, coaching and mentoring to operational staff as required in line with company values.
     
  • Compliance with any and all statutory, regulatory, governance and legislative requirements without exception. 

    Essential

· Diploma of OHS or higher
· Training and Assessing Cert IV
· Current First Aid accreditation
· ICAM or Taproot Investigation Training
· Construction Safety Induction (Blue/White Card)
· Internal auditor
