Role Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Civil Design/Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Civil Design/Project Engineer at Woodward Civil, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions across a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Documentation:

• Develop detailed civil design plans using Civil 3D and 12D software.
• Prepare and review engineering documentation, including plans, specifications, and reports.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.

Project Management:

• Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to meet project objectives.
• Conduct site inspections and oversee construction activities to ensure design and quality standards compliance.

Technical Expertise:

• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and design staff.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements.
• Address technical challenges and propose innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) certification is preferred.
• Proven experience in civil design and project management, ideally within the land development and infrastructure sectors.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D or 12D software.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
