Site Engineer – Brisbane, Australia Silverstrand is seeking aSite Engineerto become akey part in shaping the future of our business alongside an experienced team.You will be based in our Brisbane to Gold Coast sites and employed on a permanent basis.

About the role

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Site Engineer is responsible for:

• Ensuring that the project works are completed safely and in line with Silverstrand’s and client’s procedures
• Engineering drawings/ specifications, budgets, and timeframes
• Ensuring compliance with Safety & site Environmental requirements
• Procurement of plant and materials
• Provision of technical advice to stakeholders and clients
• Provide engineering and technical advice to the project team
• Daily record keeping and input of daily data onto MS spreadsheets

Essential Skills and Experience

• Civil Engineering Degree or similar
• 1+ years’ experiencein an engineering capacity on civil infrastructure projects
• Experience with concrete construction and drainage works including pre-pour inspections
• Experience with setting out works and height control using a total station
• Placement and control of concrete orders
• Thorough knowledge of Aus codes and standards
• Strong Communication and peopleSkills
• Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
• A good understanding of the Microsoft suit, in particular Excel and Word
• Experience in coordinating resources on site and programming of works
