Sydney Water Project Engineer - MPM

Sydney Water has partnered with Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) to deliver design, construction, maintenance, and facilities management services in the P4S program within Sydney Water's Southern Region. D4C is a consortium comprising of John Holland, Service Stream, and WSP.

We offer long-term employment opportunities to diversify the skills of the people in the southern region of Sydney and create pathways to enter the water industry. D4C is seeking a Project Engineer - MPM to join our expanding team to deliver excellence in water projects across the Southern Region.

Role Responsibilities:
  1. Provide onsite engineering services, technical support, project management/documentation, and onsite construction support
  2. Ensure compliance with technical specifications, legislation, approvals, and standards
  3. Administer job planning, costing, and programming for construction projects
  4. Prepare job/cost plans for projects and maintain project documentation
  5. Resolve engineering issues and demonstrate financial management skills
  6. Verify subcontractors' claims and variations
Essential Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in engineering, science, building construction, or construction management
  • Minimum 3-5 years' engineering experience
  • Construction management and technical skills relevant to the program of work
  • White card and current driver's license
