Mini Mates Dural Early Learning Centre is a family-owned and operated Centre tucked away in a quiet part of Dural. The Centre caters for a maximum of 49 children from 6 weeks to 6 years of age. Mini Mates ELC is a purpose-built service with modern light-filled, natural indoor and outdoor facilities and resources. 

We require an energetic, business minded Director who will be responsible in managing and overseeing the day to day running of the centre. You will be required to manage all administrative tasks including but not limited to; 

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Foster a love for learning and creativity among children through engaging activities.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, ensuring open communication and involvement.
  • Represent the centre in the local community, establishing partnerships and promoting the centre's values.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff members to maintain a highly skilled and motivated team.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and support professional growth.
  • Manage the budget effectively, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Work towards achieving financial goals and sustainability.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of the educational program which values a holistic view of each child's development.
  • Priorities the health and safety of all children in service
  • Provide leadership, guidance and support to other educators within the service 
  • Maintaining ongoing records of the children's development, program and daily information
  • Knowledge of the Rating & Assessment process

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma/Degree in Early Childhood Education.
  • This role would suit a Centre Director who has ran a small to medium size service or an experienced 2IC / Assistant Director who has held that role for 3-5 years wanting to take the next step in their careers.
  • Current paid working with children check, current First aid & CPR
  • Strong understanding of childcare regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for early childhood education and commitment to providing quality care.
