Freight Assist is currently looking for a passionate Leading Hand (Supervisor) - PM Shift (Melbourne based) that is looking for a new challenge and growth within the organisation

About the Role

  • Supervision of 3-5 staff
  • Adhere to dangerous goods regulations / ADG code.
  • Actively engage in hands on work, setting an example for the team

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Forklift licence with a minimum of three years’ experience
  • HC licence is an advantage
  • A High Safety Focus
  • Sound knowledge of metropolitan Melbourne
  • Enthusiastic and energetic team player
  • Carry out all duties within set time frames and follow instruction.
  • Strong leadership
  • High attention to detail
  • Transport and Chain of Responsibility experience managing linehaul and local delivery vehicles
  • Be flexible in your working hours, current requirement is 12pm – 8-9pm
