The scope of work will include the delivery of maintenance services across Western Power's transmission, distribution network and the maintenance of large complex assets, whilst servicing customers in city centres, regional and remote communities.
 

About the role


As we move into this exciting new phase, we are seeking expressions of interests from Planners, who will be responsible for coordinating planning and scheduling activities to ensure outage and operational objectives are met. This involves providing timely and accurate data to the Operations Manager and Project Supervisors to support the day-to-day activities of the business. You will work closely with the other Planners to coordinate work to ensure outstanding performance is achieved in the Planning Division.

About you 


To be successful in this critical role, you should hold the following skills & experience:

  • Demonstrated work experience in power and energy overhead and underground networks.
  • Demonstrated successful experience in outage planning, allocating and supplying resources.
  • Demonstrated experience in resource scheduling.
  • Demonstrated time management and multi-tasking skills. 
  • Demonstrated understanding of relevant financials.
  • Familiarity with & demonstrated adherence to Health and Safety practices of the industry.
