We are looking for coffee enthusaists to join the Merlo Coffee Wyalla & Merlo Coffee Russell Street teams

We are looking for a passionate and energetic Baristas to join our team The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee, a friendly personality, and the ability to provide excellent customer service. As a Barista at Merlo, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks, maintaining a clean and organised workspace, and ensuring an outstanding experience for every customer.

The role: 

• Prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages to Merlo standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring each customer feels welcome and appreciated.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee-making equipment.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
• Educate customers about our coffee blends, brewing methods, and menu options.

The ideal candidate will have: 

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a customer service role is preferred.
• Passion for coffee and a desire to learn more about coffee preparation and presentation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Flexible availability across the week and weekends.
