You'll be responsible for:

  • Managing your own CTP claims portfolio from lodgement to finalisation
  • Building effective working relationships with a variety of key stakeholders including injured claimants and/or their lawyers, rehabilitation advisors and medical professionals, to drive successful rehabilitation and return to work outcomes
  • Assessing claims for reasonable and necessary treatment and rehabilitation requirements
  • Assessing and managing injury needs of claimants, handling correspondence regarding CTP benefits, treatment and rehabilitation, and interpret medical reports
  • Review treatment requests and organise investigations into claims with a focus on proactive claims management
  • Make settlement offers and attend informal and settlement conferences to progress claims towards finalisation
  • Attend conferences with counsel, expert witnesses, and lawyers

Important to your success:

  • Qualifications in Law, Insurance, Medical, Allied Health or related disciplines
  • Proven para-legal personal injury experience a preference
  • Insurance Claims experience, within CTP / Personal Injury a preference 
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply legislation
  • Skills to manage a target driven case load
  • Having a genuine customer focused approach
  • Negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
