They specialise in delivering a wide range of construction and surveying services, and are looking for a dynamic Senior Building Surveyor to join the team in Birmingham.
Job Description:
As a Senior Building Surveyor you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality surveying services to our clients in Birmingham and the surrounding areas. You will be responsible for a diverse range of projects, from commercial and residential properties to public infrastructure. Your key responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting building surveys, inspections, and assessments.
- Preparing detailed reports and analyses for clients.
- Advising clients on property-related matters, including maintenance, refurbishment, and construction.
- Managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline compliance.
- Leading and mentoring junior surveying staff.
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Staying up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices.
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Building Surveyor.
- Strong knowledge of building regulations and construction techniques.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- Proficiency in surveying software and other relevant tools.
- Proven project management abilities.
- Membership in a relevant professional organization (e.g., RICS) is desirable.
