Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to provide meaningful insights and recommendations to support business decision-making. You will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing large volumes of data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
Duties and responsibilities
- Data Collection and Preparation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data from various sources. Develop data pipelines and ensure data quality and consistency for analysis.
- Data Analysis and Modelling: Utilize advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyse large datasets and identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
- Develop predictive models and algorithms to optimize business processes and drive strategic decision-making.
- Data Pipeline and Data Warehouse design, in collaboration with technology development partners
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance data analysis efficiency.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and data management.
- Providing support to end-users via phone, email, chat, or in-person.
- Identifying and diagnosing system issues and determining the root cause of the problem.
- Working closely with business analyst to resolve complex technical issues and to develop solutions to recurring problems.
- Testing system updates and new releases before they are deployed to end-users.
- Providing training and support to end-users on how to use system applications effectively.
- Maintaining knowledge of the latest system updates and releases, as well as best practices.
- Collaborating with other support teams to ensure that system issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner.
- Developing and maintaining support documentation, including user guides, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles.
- Participating in the development and implementation of system support policies and procedures.
- Assists the Lead/Manager with day-to-day operations.
- Gathers, verifies, and manipulates data for report generation.
- Working with Key Operation stakeholders across the account globally
Requirements
- Background in programming, statistics, machine learning, data visualization, communication and problem-solving
- Experience with data mining, cleaning, visualization, and programming languages such as Python, SQL.
- Desired experience in Azure Machine Learning.
- Experience in designing and implementing high performance data pipelines, warehouse, and analytics systems on common cloud platforms.
- Sound written and oral communication skills, and the capacity to deal with ambiguity and complex problems.
- Organizational and time-management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables daily.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work within tight deadlines.
- Good MS Office skills, skilled in MS Excel, analytical and reporting skills
- Decision-making skills
- Great communicator and active listener - should have a good command of the English language-both spoken and written.
- Can work independently and minimal supervision.
