In this position, you will join our Energy business with a focus on supporting the decarbonization revolution, particularly in the decarbonization of the WA resource and utility energy systems. You will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists who 'bring ideas to life' for our clients across all types of energy infrastructure. This includes developing connection assets for new power projects such as large-scale renewable power generation and large energy storage projects.

1. Advise clients on substations design (132kV and above), network planning, and connection of renewable power generation and energy storage projects.
2. Collaborate with a large Australian community of specialists in grid-scale renewable power generation, energy storage, mining rail, and fleet decarbonization to innovate solutions to complex problems.
3. Provide quality and timely planning advice to clients on power generation asset operation and development.
4. Lead the industry in deploying innovative projects in energy storage and inverters-based generation markets.

If you share our passion for re-imagining engineering, actively pursue continuous learning, and have a degree qualification with post-graduation experience in a transmission and distribution role, consultant, or developer/owner/contractor, we want to hear from you. Experience in the primary and/or secondary design of substations assets at 132 kV level and above is essential. Experience in NWIS power systems and/or SWIS power systems is a plus. Previous consultancy experience and practical site experience are valued.
