The Manager, Technology Finance & Analytics will provide additional analytical and managerial capacity to The Technology & Operations Finance team during a period of increased workload driven by the proposed sale of Suncorp's bank.
What you'll do- Drive effective financial management across the Technology & Operations (T&O) function through the provision of timely and accurate financials & insightful narrative.
- Effectively influence senior stakeholders across both F&A and T&O functions.
- Timely and accurate close of monthly results.
- Development of regular expense forecasts.
- Manage / mentor a team of analysts and senior analysts, ensuring team deliverables are achieved
- Proactively identify and implement opportunities to improve the efficiency of key activities in order to unlock further capacity.
- Be an active member of the F&A Community, contributing to the attainment of the team's objectives and plans.
- Work closely with the Manager, T&O & Partnering Finance with respect to all activities.
What you'll bring- Tertiary qualifications in finance, Accounting (or similar) (Mandatory)
- Post- graduate qualifications, (ICA) (CFA) (CPA) (desired)
- Experience in business partnering, performance management or a financial performance & analysis role
- Experience using Power BI for financial reporting and analysis (desired)
- Experience in leading and coaching a team of analysts
- Strong business knowledge with experience in a medium to large financial services organisation
- Proven ability to utilise and translate business knowledge to develop business & finance strategy
