About the role:
The Senior Project Officer, Suicide Prevention and Response Programs, leads and supports in the delivery of end-to-end program management of suicide prevention and response initiatives, including design, implementation, reporting and monitoring, financial acquittals and evaluation.
The Senior Project Officer will facilitate and strengthen relationships across government and with external stakeholders. Alongside the Manager, the Senior Project Officer will work collaboratively with government departments and agencies, non-government organisations, peak bodies and people with lived and living experience of suicide.

The successful applicant will have demonstrated project management, communication and stakeholder management skills, and will work well within a team to achieve team goals. In addition, successful applicant will possess:
- Demonstrated experience with all aspects of project coordination
- Ability to prepare complex briefs and other forms of written communication
- Ability to use contemporary approaches to partnership and engagement with people with lived and living experience of suicide and strive for consistency in approaches and methodologies
- Highly developed skills in planning and managing risks
