Senior to Principal Contaminated Land Scientist

A leading environmental firm is seeking a highly experienced Senior or Principal Contaminated Sites Consultant to join their dynamic team in Perth.
About the Role:
As a Contaminated Sites Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in their environmental practice. You will leverage your extensive experience and expertise to provide strategic project direction, conduct technical reviews, and mentor junior consultants. Your established client base and subject matter expertise will be crucial in driving our continued success and expanding our service offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct contaminated sites projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
- Provide technical review and oversight on complex contaminated sites assessments and remediation projects.
- Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
- Maintain and grow strong client relationships, leveraging your network to secure new business opportunities.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure our services remain at the forefront of the industry.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of direct contaminated sites consulting experience in Australia.
- Recognized subject matter expert in contaminated sites management and remediation.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects and delivering client-focused solutions.
- Strong technical background with the ability to perform and review complex assessments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Experience in mentoring and developing junior consultants.
