Your new employer is a medium-sized family-owned business based in Dandenong South. The Accounts Payable & Payroll Administrator will be responsible for efficiently managing both accounts payable and payroll functions. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.The Role
Key responsibilities may include (but not limited to) the following:
Accounts Payable
- Process vendor invoices accurately and timely.
- Prepare and process payments, ensuring adherence to payment schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of all AP transactions.
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Process payroll for employees accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with EBA requirements
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
- Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned
The ideal candidate will bring to the table the following skills and prior experiences:
- Prior experience having worked with both accounts payable and payroll.
- On the payroll side, experience working with EBAs is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
