As the Head of ICT, you will provide vision and leadership in the development and implementation of the ICT strategy, ensuring the institution’s contemporary facilities and outstanding learning environments remain at the cutting edge. Reporting to the Director of Business Services and Advancement, you will take a holistic approach to the management and leadership of ICT and related services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the ICT department in alignment with the institution’s strategic objectives
  • Plan, direct, coordinate, and design ICT activities to implement technology solutions
  • Ensure a secure, reliable, and innovative infrastructure to support the institution’s needs
  • Provide a responsive Help Desk and support all users of ICT
  • Foster a collaborative and streamlined approach to ICT applications within the institution

Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
  • Proven 5+ years’ experience in leading and managing ICT operations at a secondary school
  • Strong technical abilities in network administration, hardware/software management, cybersecurity, and troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder collaboration
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge and interest in school ICT needs and best practices in integrating technology into a learning environment
  • Current Working with Children Check/Police Check/Mandatory Reporting/Level 2 First Aid
