The role:

You will lead Warrigal's environmental sustainability efforts byengaging in strategic planning, goal setting, and effectivelycommunicating initiatives. You will motivate stakeholders to adoptsustainable behaviours, ensuring our operations meet globalsustainability standards. Your responsibilities will includeoverseeing emission reductions, sustainable procurement, buildingdesigns, and operational practices, fostering a culture ofenvironmental stewardship throughout Warrigal.

To be successful you will need: 

• Degree in environmental science, sustainability,engineering or related field
• A high level of significant experience in a leadership ormanagement role overseeing environmental sustainabilityprograms in a large organisation
• In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations, industrystandards, and best practices in carbon management, resourceconservation, and sustainable property development.
• Strong analytical skills for data collection, analysis, andinterpretation to drive decision-making and continuousimprovement.
• Excellent project management skills for handling multipleinitiatives, setting priorities, managing resources, anddelivering on time and within budget.
• Effective communication skills to explain complexsustainability ideas and gain stakeholder agreement.
• Proven leadership to inspire, motivate, and empower teamstowards sustainability goals and behavioural change.
• Proficiency in sustainability reporting and frameworks,with experience in preparing and presenting accurate reports tostakeholders.
• Possess a high level of self-awareness, interpersonal,communication and influencing skills including the ability tofacilitate groups
