MA Financial Group is a global alternative asset manager specialising in private credit, real estate and hospitality. We lend to property, corporate and specialty finance sectors and provide corporate advice.

About the team
MA Financial is one of the fastest growing private credit asset managers in Australia.
Our Global Credit Solutions (GCS) team manages private credit funds and investments as part of our $4 billion AUM private credit business.
GCS’ strategies are focused on asset-backed finance, specialty credit, corporate lending and high yield credit. The GCS team has over 45 professionals based in Sydney and New York.
About the role
You will join our Global Credit Solutions team for approximately 8-10 weeks where you will be instrumental in the execution of a diverse set of deals working alongside senior team members.

You will be mentored by some of the very best and brightest to ensure that you are equipped with unparalleled industry insights and tools to cement your career in a high performing team, along with a solid understanding of what it takes to become a standout financial services professional.
Your responsibilities will include:
- assisting in the execution of deals
- financial modelling and valuation
- drafting marketing documents such as Management Presentations and Information Memorandums
- assisting in the preparation of marketing pitchbooks and related materials
- gathering public information
- producing and maintaining various databases
About you
- You are a university student in your penultimate year of study (we will also consider applications from final year students) with strong academic results
- Your studies have a finance / business / commerce /economics / law / engineering / science / mathematics focus
- You have excellent analytical and numerical skills
- You have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- You are a team player with a strong work ethic
- You are innovative, entrepreneurial and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- You have your own unique interests, perspectives and experience which adds diversity of thought and ideas to our team
