Job Title: FIFO Data Comms Technician/Electrician - Moranbah, QLD

Location: Fly In Fly Out from Brisbane to Moranbah, QLD

Roster: 7/7 Swing (Flexible Roster)

Salary: $65 - $70 per hour (88-hour week)

About Us: We are a leading company specialising in data communications, electrical installations, and fibre optics. We are currently seeking an experienced Data Comms Technician/Electrician with an Open Cabling Licence and endorsements to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging FIFO role, based out of Moranbah, QLD.

The Role: As a Data Comms Technician/Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting data communication systems and fibre optics. This role requires extensive experience in data communications and a commitment to high-quality work. You will work on a 7/7 swing, ensuring a great work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot data communication systems and fibre optics.
  • Ensure all installations comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on communication systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to data comms and fibre optics.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure project goals are met.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

Ideal Candidate:
