The Role

The purpose of this role is to ensure all stock control procedures are being adhered to with a view to maintaining high levels of stock integrity at the branch. This will involve the analysis of reports and investigating inventory related discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure key inventory reports are produced daily and analysed
  • Routinely conduct cycle counts
  • Investigate all discrepancies and issues within pre-determined time frames
  • Implement, maintain and routinely conduct Low Code reports
  • Perform regular stock adjustments
  • Maintain excellent standards of recording and filing all reports, stock adjustments, cycle count sheets, claims/resolutions, out of stock information
  • Ensure that stock receipting accuracy is maintained to the highest level
  • Process customer orders, enquires and following up on any issues
  • Stock take preparation

Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications

  • Must have Stock Control experience (stocktake, cycle counts, supplier relationships)
  • Must have valid High Risk Forklift Licence
  • Strong analytical skills and superior attention to detail
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Superior time management skills with the ability to manage work schedules unsupervised
  • A good knowledge of warehouse and distribution functions with great product knowledge
  • Flexible and reliable with the capacity to work under pressure
  • Possess a strong understanding of MFG Pro procedures and functionality
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong understanding of OH&S and HACCP
  • Certificate III in Warehousing or similar
