Full-time | Sydney CBD | Fantastic Office Culture
Join a highly regarded national law firm and provide high level support to various lawyers within the firm's legal team. This is a full-time, permanent role and offers the opportunity to join a dynamic team within an environment that fosters growth and development.
The Role:
Supporting a team of lawyers, you will play a crucial role in the preparation, review and organisation of documents. Your duties may include:
- Preparing a range of documents including banking and finance facility documents, mortgages and security documents
- Running of re-finance, banking and finance files from start to finish whilst ensuring alignment with all Australian Jurisdictions
- Assisting with tasks related to land title transactions, commercial leasing, residential and commercial conveyancing
- Liaising with stakeholders via phone and email including clients, banks and other parties
- Working closely with solicitors to assist on technical matters and settle files
About You:
To be considered for this position, you will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the legal industry as well as a strong understanding of banking and finance transactions. Additionally, you will be able to display the below skills and qualities:
- Proficient IT skills and good working knowledge of PEXA and MS Suite
- Confident in preparing conveyancing documents and correspondence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A positive, proactive mindset and openness to take on new opportunities
- Excellent time management, organisational skills and ability to manage and meet deadlines
- Understanding of trust deeds and SMSF's (preferred but not essential)
