General Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee all aspects of business operations with specific initial focus on manufacturing operations. The business has services and products that are aligned to large scale waste management providing environmentally sustainable solutions.
The General Manager will be responsible for managing daily operations, developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
A summary of responsibilities include:
- Lead and oversee all areas of the business, including operations, customer service, sales, finance, and administration.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.
- Manage and support a team of employees, providing leadership, coaching, and training as needed.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to waste management.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to track business performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and develop new business opportunities.
- Conduct regular meetings with staff to communicate goals, initiatives, and performance expectations.
- Manage financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Implement best practices and quality control measures to ensure efficient and effective business operations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, environmental science, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the waste management or plumbing industry or a similar field.
- Strong business acumen and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in waste management.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving operational excellence.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
