Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Minor Works Manager to join our team in our Office located in Wangara on a full-time basis. As a Minor Works manager you will be responsible for managing electrical projects typically under $50,000 including fit-outs, refurbishments, service work, power upgrades and will be working with the management team to deliver multiple projects on time and on budget as well as establishing strong relationships with clients and stakeholders and ensuring safe work processes are followed.

In addition, some of your key tasks will include;

• Lead and manage the site teams allowing successful project delivery.
• Managing the pre-award of upcoming projects and ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
• Identifying, assessing, and managing project commercial, business, community, and environmental risks.
• Ensuring project controls and reporting responsibilities are put in place.
• Delivering projects on or under budget, on or ahead of schedule in accordance with quality and performance requirements without injury.
• Ensuring the appropriate allocation of resources to achieve the project time and quality objectives at optimal cost.

Experience & Qualifications;

To be successful in this position you will have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role safely delivering electrical projects. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and influencing skills as well as developed people management skills.

• A valid electrical license and qualifications relevant to the electrical trade;
• Proven experience in commercial electrical work;
• Strong commercial acumen
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret electrical plans and diagrams;
• Thorough knowledge of Australian electrical codes and standards;
• The ability to take responsibility and lead by example with an unwavering commitment to safety and quality;
• The ability to assess, analyse, and find solutions to on-site issues;
• Current driver's license and white card;
• Police Clearance;
• On-site experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment;
